Photography fun!

I have a very short time here on the computer. I am enjoying after my photography class to hang out at the library to use the internet without having to worry about what my puppy is doing!! She is quite adorable put she gets in lots of trouble!!! The library was a little full today and I only get 22 minutes which I actually am down to 11 minutes!

I think I need to start blogging some of my photos and what I am learning in my photography class. I want to be able to look back at documentation of the pics plus what I learned from those pics. I will have to start that tonight!!!

Class was lots of fun tonight and we had a different instructor just for tonight. He is the guy who used to teach this class. Our instructor had a death in the family and had to miss. The last two classes we have went outside and today I feel like I understand some things a little better.

I am also excited as a that I am getting a wireless remote for my camera!!! I was told by the photography store here that it would be around $500 for my camera. At that point, I just stopped looking. I didn't see I needed it for $500. Sooo, the other day on the SJ MB I enjoy, I had mentioned that I wanted a wireless remote. One girl knew how I could get one off ebay for about $30!! I will hopefully have it in a couple of weeks!!

I only have 5 minutes and will have to start a new post once I get home and upload my photos!

Photography overload

I had a good first day back to work, busy, but good. I got to work and I was told that a patient asked who was working and ask if she could have me as her nurse. That made me feel good!! She was excited to see me when I went into her room. :-) She has been on our floor a few times and remembered me from when I had her last. She told me that I knew what I was doing and she felt confident when I was her nurse.

I still am not really like e-mar. It just feel like it takes too much time to pass meds. I need to start organizing myself differently. That all depends on how the night starts out. Last night I had a new admit and finishing up chemo on a patient. I need to try to start making sure I have all my meds for the evening and get everything in order so my med pass will hopefully go easier. Last night I was just to busy to try this so I hope the next time I work, it will be calmer and I can do that!!

I am at the public library using the computer and they are getting ready to close. I have been enjoying hanging out using the internet at the library. I have a hard time concentrating at home when I am watching my new pup and keeping her out of trouble!! I have three minutes so I will have to finish this up at home!

No more vacation. :-(

I have to return back to work tonight. I never look forward to going back after being off for a while!! I have had a fun time being off from work but could have done without all the rain!!



I have been taking a few pics this week for my photography class. Last night as I was loading all of them and looking at the metadata that was loaded, I noticed something. I forgot that I had my white balance set to fluorescent lighting!! That might be why the pics I took under manual mode outside looks a little funny in color! Oops!!! I have set it back to auto white balance. I need to take a few pics with the right white balance to see the difference.

Phoebe and I had out puppy class again on Sunday. This week I feel like she has made some progress!! The pet trainer was helping me in getting Phoebe to lie down. Her tips really help me! I finally was able to get Phoebe to lay down for me. Then tonight I tried it at home and she has done it quite a few times for me. She kept wagging her little tail after she would lie down and get her treat!! I am also trying to work with her on loose leash walking which is a challenge. I am able to get her to sit and stay. She will also come to me when I call for her! I am proud of my little girl! :-) I just keep working with her a little bit everyday so hopefully by next week she will be doing everything without any hesitation!

Phoebe gets so excited when she sees people!!! Petsmart is doing construction and I guess they are making it bigger? I am not really sure what they are doing. One of the construction workers was walking near the training area and wanted to see Phoebe. He said that she needed some puppy Ritalin! He He!!!! I have been trying to get her to stay calm when she sees people but I haven't been able to accomplish that yet.

It is getting late and I need to get some sleep before Phoebe wakes me up in a few hours!!

Rockin' B-day!!

Yesterday was my birthday and I ended up having a great time!!! The day was quite rainy though. I woke up to t-storms and down pours of rain. This went on all day till about 4 pm. Then it was cloudy. I have added a pic below of Phoebe and her bling bling collar! She is getting soo big! She was 4 lbs and 10 oz last Wednesday!




My plan was to wake up somewhat early and fix the flat on my bicycle and go riding. I was disappointed that I wasn't able to do that. I thought I would do it today but I was to tired this morning. Maybe this evening when it cools off.


On my birthday I normally go see a movie. I am out of sync of what movies are out and didn't really recognize the titles. I searched on the internet and decided to go to the $2.50 movie theater. I got soaking wet by running in and I got there when the movie was about to start. I forgot that they didn't take debit cards, only cash. The lady told me that they have and ATM but it would charge me $2 to get money out. I opted to leave and not see the movie and once again I was running in the rain getting soaking wet!! I wanted to tell the lady it was my birthday and I was soaking wet. She could see that I was soaking wet . . . . but I left.




Then I went and got my free movie from Hollywood Video for my birthday and got Juno. I need to watch it. Then I just did a few things that I needed to do and then it was about time for me to go pick up Phoebe's pics from the photographer from the pet night!! Her pics are super cute!!!

By then it had finally stopped raining and I was driving home and the road was blocked. I thought I would go another way but it was flooded from all the rain. I finally was able to get through the other way and get home. I was shocked to see the creek in the park was overflowing and the park was flooded!! I bet that is why the road had been blocked from all the water going over the road from the creek. It must have went down since it had stopped raining. I did take a few pics of all the flooding!




Then later my sister, nieces and I went to Branson Landing to see a concert, Starship!!!! I remember them from the '80's and was excited to see them perform!!!



I kept wanting to hear "We Built this City" and just kept listening and listening for it! Then when the show was about to be over, they played a song and then said goodbye and was off the stage!!! They have to play that song!!! Then the announcer was saying, "Do you want more??" and the crowd was yelling YES!!!! Then after a while of that, they came back out and said that there was one song that they meant to play and it was that song!!!! I was excited!!!!! It was a great ending to the concert!! There was a small fireworks show afterwards! The concert was the best part of my birthday and I was so glad that the rain stopped so the concert could go on!!

Finally, Vacation!!!

This is actually day 2 of my vacation. On Sunday, I did get me a wii, guitar hero and wii fit. I just got done working out with my wii fit. It is so much fun!!! I have even gotten some new exercises to unlock today. I will have to try them out tomorrow!!! Day one of my vacation I slept quite a bit after being up for 24 hours. When I did get up I connected my wii to my TV and ended up staying up most of the night trying everything out!

Today since I stayed up most of the night playing the wii, I was quite tired!! I think I made it to bed about 6 am and I got up about 10 am I am glad that I can go to bed soon and hopefully wake up rested and be on a normal schedule the rest of my vacation. That would be great!!

Also today, I started my photography class. The instructor owns a pet photography studio! I remember getting info from somewhere about her studio but never made it there with my fur babies. I would love to get all of my fur babies in a pic but I am going to have to wait till the puppy and kitties can get along without smacking each other!!

I still need to upload my photos but I hope to do that in the morning. I have homework to do from what I learned in class today. Maybe I will take my camera with me tomorrow when I take Phoebe to get the rest of her vaccinations and take pics at the vets! The lady I sat next to in class today happens to be a scrapbooker and we even have the same camera. Fun!!

I am off to play some Guitar Hero and then get some sleep. I just hope Phoebe lets me! I might have to play with her for awhile to help with that!! :-)

Nintendo wii!!!

I am sitting here waiting for my time limit on my allergy eye drops before putting my contacts in. Then I am getting ready quickly to go to Best Buy to get a Nintendo wii!!! I also plan to go to Toys R Us and hopefully get Mario Kart! I have been calling stores for over a week trying to find me a wii and today is hopefully the day I get one. Nice right before vacation!

I am off to get a wii!!!

Pet Night

I had no intention to being a bad blogger. I need to get myself back into the habit of updating my blog. I hope that I can start that again this week since I am off from work.

I have been quite tired since getting my puppy Phoebe. She doesn't let me sleep as long as I would like. I have her with me a lot when I am at the computer and she makes it hard to concentrate on blogging! She is sleeping in her crate right now and I should be sleeping while she is sleeping. I will do that soon!!

Friday night was Pet Night on C-Street. It was a fun evening!! Phoebe and I started the night out with her getting her picture done. I should have those photos back in a week! I can't wait to see them! She just loves all the attention and was sitting still for her picture. She is a good puppy!!

Phoebe loved meeting all the other dogs and would greet all of them! She is friendly and all the other dogs were friendly too. I was kinda afraid of some of the big dogs on how they would react to Phoebe but she just loved it! I even had one guy who would take my pup if I decided I didn't want her! He just feel in love with her! I hope that they have another pet night on C-Street!

I still need to upload the photos to my computer. My bonus room has been around 90 degrees during the day and not very fun to be on the computer. I am working on getting a spot for my laptop downstairs so I can enjoy being on the computer. For some reason, my laptop is being real slow or I should say IE on my laptop is being real slow!! I will return in a couple of days with photos!

Feeling sleepy . . .

Phew!!! I stayed up till 0330 last night and woke up at 1030 and I feel sooo tired today!!! I can't seem to get much done. I try to lay down and Phoebe decides she wants to play. I don't blame her for being in the crate while I was sleeping. She is ready to go and I am ready to get a few more Zzzzzzz's!! Phoebe and I did take a little nap on the couch this morning. She is sooo adorable!!!!



Looking at this picture of Phoebe make me realize that she has grown!! Her collar is too big for her here and I had to make it a little bigger yesterday as it was starting to get a little snug! My baby is going to grow up way to fast!!!

I have some bad news though. I found out that I am allergic to dogs after all!!!! I was allergy tested for dogs over 10 years ago and it was negative. I have thought that getting a dog would be okay since I am not allergic. After getting Phoebe, I have been breaking out in a rash if I hold her for too long. It will go away after a while. I get allergy shots every week so I had a talk with the nurses at my allergy doctors. They told me that I could have developed an allergy to dogs since I was tested last. WHAT???? So, I was in last Friday and got test for dog allergy again and this time it did come up as a severe allergy!!! I had a huge bump on my arm from it. :-( The plan now is to add dogs to my serum to start helping with this new insane allergy I have gotten! I was upset as I thought I was finally going to have an animal I wasn't allergic too. Phoebe is staying as I am also allergic to my cats and I manage that pretty good.

Last night I got started on getting my garage cleaned. I still have a ways to go but have a good start. I just need to load my car off all this recycling I have and hopefully be able to make a trip later this week to dump it off. I am hoping to get everything out of the garage so I can bleach the floor. I can tell mice have been in there. I also worked last night to get my scrap table cleaned off but still need to have some major organization to my supplies!! I have the white cubes from Target put can't remember where I put stuff. I am going to work and getting the drawers labeled and more organized so I can find things. I also need to start using up the kits I have from kit clubs from way back!!

For the rest of the day I plan to work on getting recycling loaded and cleaning house. I hope to work more on the garage. I have been thinking about hanging out at the Mudhouse for awhile. Or I might have to go to the Coffee Ethic instead. I heard that they have frozen coffee drinks now!! The Coffee Ethic is connected to a branch of the public library. I need to return some books and even search for more books about pugs! I really want to read pugs for dummies book again. It might give me better ideas about my new pup!!

I hope that I can wake up more! :-)

RN, BSN!!!!

Ohhh my!!! It has almost been 20 days since I blogged!! I am normally not this bad at blogging but I had a very busy end to my semester!!! Having a puppy has kept me busy also!



I am finally done with school and all graduated!! I am a proud owner of a purple tube! :-) I should receive my diploma in 4-6 weeks. I have been concerned as all my final grades were posted last week except my History correspondence course. On May 2 my instructor emailed me to let me know what I made in the course but it has never been posted to web advisor (where all our grades are posted). I finally called the school and on Friday got a reply that the instructor hadn't released my grade to be posted. They were going to send my instructor a reminder to do this. Of course it wasn't posted on Friday so maybe early this week it will be. I don't want my diploma to be delayed!!! I need it to get my raise at work. I am so glad that school is over for me. :-)

My puppy Phoebe is doing good! We had our first puppy class at PetSmart today! I am trying to train her to a clicker and I am to teach her to watch me - for up to 15 seconds. My puppy is so hyper she wasn't paying attention to me very well!!! The trainer had treats that she must have liked better than mine as she kept looking at the trainer instead of me! I am going to work with her on these items this week for class next week.

I have been soo tired with having a new puppy. I don't think I realized how much sleep I was going to miss with getting a puppy. I think I am adjusting fairly well as I have had her for 3 weeks now. We have been having snake appearances at my house. They are garden snakes but still I don't like it!!! Last Sunday I took up the landscaping fabric in my garden and underneath was a garden snake and it was striking at me!!! I got my shovel and took care of that one. Then the last few days I have seen three appearances which it might be the same snake. Poor Phoebe this morning wanted out but the snake was on the steps so I told Phoebe to wait in the laundry room. I was going to get the shovel and kill the snake!! It got away to fast so I went to get Phoebe and take her outside but poor puppy couldn't wait and went in the laundry room floor! I should have just went to the front door and then deal with the snake. One reason I have snakes is the wood pile from the ice storm. I have a neighbor that is wanted to take the wood and I think I am ready for him to help me!! That will hopefully decrease the snakes - except the house next door is now vacant with grass super tall and a small wood pile from the ice storm.

I have been out of school for one week now and have started getting my house more organized. It is going to take me awhile but I am excited about having things in a orderly fashion! I have been trying to do just a little bit everyday. I need to make a list of what I need to accomplish and mark it off as I go. That always makes me feel like I have done something!!

I am currently at the Mudhouse and it is strange just being able to do what I want to do on the computer. My computer usage has went down since I don't have to sit and do assignments all the time. Today I have been searching sites on loan repayment. One the school told us about is due June 30th. I need to hurry up on getting all the documents together!! It would be great if I could get some of my student loans paid for. :-) Every little bit will help. I have also had fun keeping caught up on the MB I enjoy.

I believe I need to get home to take care of my puppy and hopefully we have no more snake appearances!! I am thinking about getting started on cleaning my garage out. :-)

One more week!!!

This time next week I will be done with school! I will only have my pinning and graduation to finish. I can handle that! I still have lots to do before then!! One announcement I need to make is about my History class. I HAD to have it completed before April 30th to graduate and I did it!!! It was a little rough doing a normal 16 week class in one month but I am proud to say I did it!!! I even made an 88%! Rock on!!! :-)

I have been a little nervous about my Capstone class. We have 3 huge papers to do which I have two done and only one more to do. When I turned in my first paper, I didn't feel as if I did it right. I was at school today and asking about getting announcements for our pinning ceremony and my instructor for Capstone happened to come to the desk. Since I had her in my presence I asked her some questions on the next paper. She was quite helpful and was glad to put a face with my name! Since it is an online class, we don't get to do that all the time. I just mentioned the first paper and that I struggled putting everything together. She looked at my paper on her computer and read some of the comments she wrote and told me that I did good. She didn't tell me my score but I feel better after her reading to me what she did. I left school today feeling better about the papers I have written. I am so ready for the stress of school to be over!



Ohhhhh, I almost forgot to talk about my newest addition, Phoebe! She is just a doll! The crate training is going okay. I can actually put her in her crate without her crying now. I have learned that as long has she has her play time, she doesn't mind going into the crate for a nap. The house training is going to take a while! I can't wait till I have more time to do more reading on house training.



Phoebe really likes the cats but the feeling isn't mutual! When she sees the cats, she gets in her pouncing position and just wags her little tail!! Then she chases them through the house! Of course, Chloe doesn't tolerate this and hisses and smackes. Phoebe doesn't understand that this means to get away! I have to keep an eye on her when she is out of her crate so she doesn't get injured.

Phoebe is home!

Thursday after class, I went and picked up my pug puppy, Phoebe! She is quite adorable! She likes sleeping all curled up on my chest! So cute! I found a LOL cat pic that is appropriate for how my cats feel, I am sure! Chloe has hissed and smacked poor Phoebe and the look on Phoebe's pug face was funny when it happened! I scooped her up quickly so hopefully no damage could be done! Pandora and Felix have just been sniffing her and not really sure what to think.





Our first night was a little rough. I had only had two hours of sleep the night before and wanted to sleep soo bad! This was also Phoebe's first night without her litter mates so she cried a lot! I ended up putting her to bed with me and she was happy and feel asleep. I didn't get that much sleep and was exhausted the next day! I think each day has improved with the crate training.

Just a note . . .

I have been blogging but then saving it instead of publishing it. I was planning on adding pictures and even finish my post on CKC-St. Louis and never got around to it. I have mass published what I have been wanting to finish editing. I never did finish my post on CKC-St. Louis and hope to do that when I have more time. That might be after graduation! I have been busy and not blogging as much but hope to get back to normal blogging after this semester is over!

Phoebe is coming home!

Who is Phoebe you say? That is my new pug puppy!!! I should be asleep right now as I have to get up at 6am. I am excited about getting my puppy! I went after class tonight and bought a few items. Phoebe and I will go back to the pet store tomorrow to get food and anything else that we might think we need! I am nervous and excited about getting my puppy. I am nervous on the fact on I don't know how my cats are going to take to my puppy and also about house training!!! I wish dogs were like cats in house training. I have been given lots of tips on how to house train a dog. I just hope it goes smoothly!



Many stressful things are going on in my life! Getting sick didn't help me at all. I am much better but still have a cough but much improved. If I do too much, I do get a little short of breath. Then I had my printer die on my last Friday! I was getting ready to print a bunch of articles for school and my printer had froze up. No problem as this has happened before. I would just unplug it for awhile and then plug it back in. It somehow resets it and would print. Not last week! It has been dead! It won't do one thing when any buttons are pushed! My parents had a printer they weren't using so I went and borrowed it but I needed to get cartridges. While I was at Best Buy I learned that they don't have the cartridge I need. I took a look at the printers and saw the HP Photosmart C7280 and the guy told me that was a great printer and that it was on sale. It was normally a $300 printer but was for $179. After reading about it, I bought it! I have been in love with this printer ever since getting it. It is wireless so I can print from my laptop and desktop! It prints pictures fast! It also has individual colors! It also has the fax machine like my other one. But anyway, I can't wait till school is over as much of my stress will be greatly reduced.

I have been very stressed lately because of school. One thing that was really stressing me out was this History class. I had a deadline of April 30th to get this done. I accomplished it!!!! I took my last exam last night. I handed in a paper and I don't know my grade yet. I have been checking Blackboard OFTEN just to see if he has posted it. Nothing yet.

The next HUGE stresser is my Capstone class. That class is unbelieveable in what she is wanting us to accomplish in 4 weeks! I have three research papers due. One every Monday till the last week of school. I turned my first one in last Monday and it truly wasn't a good paper. I am so afraid of what kind of a grade I am going to get! I had been sick all last week and did the best I could with all the other assignments I had due. I had to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That left me with getting it done on Monday on little sleep. I had been doing a little bit everyday before/after work but I never really was able to get that much accomplished. After I got started on the paper and started thinking of it later, I don't feel like I did it correctly. I didn't do an article search as it was my own personal mission statement and career path. I talked about these items and then I noticed that you needed multiple outside sources. Poo!! I was afraid of History causing me the reason not to graduate but it might be Capstone!

Okay, I have complained enough about school. I do have lots more but I have to be at work by 0830 for a 3 hours class and then go to school. Then go to get my puppy! I have a full day ahead and possibly no sleep tomorrow with a new puppy! :-)

Greys is back!!!!

I am excited tonight as Grey's Anatomy is finally back!!!! I cleaned off my coffee table so I can work on my homework while watching Grey's.







Some of the events of my day:

• I got done writing my history paper and emailed it to my teacher him to review my draft. This is a big thing as I need to have this done this week so I can get my password emailed to me for my LAST exam in History! I have been nervous about if he was going to get back to me in time.


• I got to bed around 4am but couldn't fall asleep! I had about 4 hours of sleep before my alarm went off for class.


• I always drink an energy drink (caffeine free) during my New Testament class. It isn't natural for me to be some where at noon. I find having an energy drink makes me feel better!


• The reason for me mentioning the energy drink is because I but it inside by book bag and when I got to class, A hole had managed to get puntured in the side. This got all my books and calaender wet! I did have about half of my energy drink left but no carbonation. It just wasn't as fun today.


• While I was in my New Testament class, I was talking about the History paper I wrote. One of the girls has had this teacher in class before and told me he was tough. I started worrying the rest of my class about him emailing me about what he thought about my paper. I should have checked my cell phone as I had an email at about 1130 with the suggestions he had for me. I am going to finish that up tonight and submit it to be graded! I really am going to finish this History class on time!! Graduation, here I come!!!!


• I finally came home today and ordered my graduation announcements. I should have them in about a week. I really hope nothing happens with them arriving in that time!


• I didn't realize all my books getting wet from the incident of the energy drink till I decided to have lunch and to read while I was eating. My American Government book got it the worst and I worked this afternoon separating all the pages so they will hopefully dry better.


• After all of this, I went back home to get my jump drive and to possibly mow my front yard. My grass is very tall and I was hoping to mow it last week but I was too sick to even think of it. Today wouldn't had been any better as I get short of breath a little easy. While I was putting gas in my lawn mower, my neighbor came over and told me that he mows lawns and was wanting to mow my lawn. I agreed till I have more time to mow my lawn myself. He will be here tomorrow! I have taken some numbers down but hadn't had time to call.


• After talking with my neighbor and getting my jump drive, I headed to the Mudhouse to get some much needed homework done. My battery went dead in my wireless mouse. The touch mouse pad makes me crazy when I have to use it! The music in the Mudhouse today was getting on my nerves. Then some girl was talking loudly about her rehab and possible felony she may be charged with while eating. After fighting with the touch mouse pad for over an hour, I finally decided that being at home may actually be a better place to study today.


• I have three research papers left. The next one being due on Monday. I work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I hope to at least get started on it tonight. I also have two assignements due by midnight tonight. I actually have lots to do and need to get busy!

Under the weather . . . .

I have been quite ill the last few days. It hasn't helped me with all the loads of homework I have!!! I have two papers to write this week and I think I might actually start feeling a little better tomorrow. I finally was able to get in and see my doctor today and he told me that I have a sinus infection along with acute bronchitis. No wonder I have felt like crap!!! I have been running a temp since last week and thought it would go away on its own but instead, a new symptom came about everyday! I am glad that I have an inhaler and antibiotics to help me get over this so I can concentrate on getting done with school.


Over the weekend was the roughest. I had 5 chapters to do in my History class for a test I had to take on Sunday. I was quite excited that I did get it done and I got a 94%!! I now have an 88% in this class. I have a paper to write which my goal is to have it done by Wednesday. Then I can take my final exam next week and be done!!! Then I will be down to 3 classes. That will be nice.


On Monday I still went to class even though I wasn't feeling good as it was the first day of my Capstone class. I received my cap and gown that day. We did talk a little about graduation and the pinning. I am getting excited and really can't wait till I get done with this History class so I can stop worrying about it and getting it done on time!


I have been a little lazy today since I haven't felt good. It has been fun laying around with the cats all day! I have got to kick it into high gear the rest of the week!

Camp Scrap

I have been all excited about Camp Scrap! Then I woke up at 0430 on Friday morning with muscle aches, temp and chills. I took a couple of Advil and went back to bed. I woke up when the Advil wore off and too some more. I still went to Camp Scrap but it just wasn't as fun since I didn't feel good. I loaded up on Advil before going and was feeling okay till about 2200. The muscle aches were coming back and I just felt icky!!! I did learn some new things and enjoyed Camp Scrap and even won a prize!!! I got 8 cans of alphabet soup from k.i. memories, felt numbers and letters, and a date and number stamp! It was worth it even though I didn't feel good! I got home and took my temp. and it was 101.4!!! Yup, I am sick.



I really don't have time to be sick so I am hoping that I wake up feeling somewhat better. I have 5 chapters to read and study in my History correspondence class for an exam I am taking online Sunday. I can do it!!! I am determined to get this class done by the deadline to graduate!!



I am off to get some rest so I can wake up feeling better! At least I hope so.

It is getting closer . . .

to my graduation!!! I am keep trucking along on getting all my papers and studying done. I have hardly had any sleep the last week and so excited that I will be able to sleep tonight AND I don't have to get up early for anything tomorrow!!!! I got up early today for my second e-mar class. I was told from people who took the second class that things made more sense. Will, they don't!!! I just have more questions. My handheld today was telling me that meds weren't in my patients profile when they were on the computer put not my handheld. I would add the medication so I could give it to my "pretend" patient but then it would enter it twice in the computer. The week we go live with this at work, I won't be there as I will be doing finals and graduating. I am going to come back to work and be all confused and supposed to be a superuser at that!



I am excited that I got my research paper back today that I wrote on Ephesians. I got a 93%!!! I figured my grade and I have a 89% in the class. I hope that I am able to do better on the final and on the remaining quizzes to pull of an A! That would be awesome!! I am working hard at getting my history class all done. My American Government class is going okay. He has given up an opportunity of getting 20 bonus points but I haven't decided if I am going to do that or not. I have to decide fast as I have to email my teacher as he wants us to have it done by next week. I start my dreaded Capstone class next week. This is the 4 week class with 3 research papers!! I don't understand why they try to kill us like they do! I plan on these papers being the last research papers I ever write!!!



I am at the Mudhouse and they must have the a/c on as it is freezing!!! I left my house as it was too warm in my bonus room and now I am in coldness. I will just have to type real fast to keep myself warm! I have goal on getting my American Government notes typed and to maybe work on my quiz for New Testament for next week. I hope to at least get one chapter done in my History as my goal is to have all 5 chapters read by Sunday to take the unit 2 test. I am still waiting on my password to get into the test. If the school doesn't email it to me by early afternoon, I will be calling!!! I have to have this history course completed by April 30th or I won't graduate!! I am not about to let that happen!!!!



I had better get busy!!

Busy as a bee! BZZZZZZZZZ!

Okay, I have been a little busy lately and haven't taken time to blog. I really don't have time now as I have a research paper due by noon tomorrow that I need to write. I have two paragraphs done so it is a start! I just need 6 pages! No sleep for me tonight!!!

I hope by tomorrow evening that I will be able to share my CKC-St. Louis experience. I had a blast and would do it again!!! I really hope I can next year! I have something very exciting that might be happening around the same time so we will see how it works!

I had my American Government class tonight and I was surprised when I got my paper paper back that he only took off one point! He commented that I put thought into my paper. If he only knew I wrote it at work on my 15 minute break! I read the section of the book for the paper, took a few notes and then got into my email and started writing from the main ideas I wrote down. Then when I got home the next morning, I took that email, copied and pasted it into a word document and made a few changes and it was done! AWESOME!! I did pretty good on the test today too. I don't know my final grade yet but I missed 8 questions out of 40 which I am happy with! I just hope he liked my essay responses to the essay questions! I really like this teacher. He used to work with the government and tells some fun stories of when he was in Russia!

Okay, I need to really get busy on this research paper so I can get it done and hopefully get a few hours of sleep before class tomorrow! I can't wait till I graduate so I can sleep! :-)

Busy month ahead . . . . .

Wow!!! Is April going to be busy!!! I have so much to do for school this month and I might not be blogging as much! I really need to cut down on my fun internet time and get everything done. At the end of the month, I am going to be done with my History correspondence. I have got a game plan going to get this completed. I should also be able to get my puppy at the end of April! I am not sure how I am going to have time to get ready for the arrival of my puppy. I am making school my first priority so I can get everything done and graduate. Then I can have some fun!!! :-)

This Friday I am making a trip to St. Louis to attend CKC. I really feel like I don't have time for this but I am going anyway. I was planning on having my research paper done for New Testament. I do have my research done, I just need to sit down and write the paper. I am going to do my best to relax and not worry about school and enjoy myself. I feel like that is going to be a little hard! I am looking forward to some scrappy fun and meeting up with some friends!

Tonight, I am going to work on writing a short paper on what the proper role is of the president as commander in chief. I am having a hard time with that paper! I also am going to get two more chapters done for my history. I am hoping to take my first exam by Sunday. I hope it works out that way! I find it irritating that I can't just click into my exam. I have to email someone and tell what day I am taking the exam. They will give me a password so I can get into the test. I am sure there is a good reason for this but it is annoying!!! I guess it can take up to 3 days to get a password.

I got something awesome today!!! I got an email from my border rewards that I could get 40% off one book over $20. I thought of the Photoshop CS3 Bible book! I really wanted it but it was $40. I was able to get it today for $24!!!! I am looking forward in using this book.

I am off to get some studying done!!! I might have to back for my CKC trip as breaks from studying!

I *heart* Photography!!!

I had a little fun photography session with a guy at Best Buy. I went in last week and asked for a few tips on the Canon 40D. It was busy but he told me what days he worked and to come back then and he would be happy to show me some things. I went after class today and brought my camera in with me. I have never ventured into the manual setting on my camera as I don't understand all the shutter speed, aperture, etc. He went through all those settings with me and was taking different pics so I could compare them. I really appreciate him taking the time to do this for me! I can't wait till I can have more time to use some of the tips he told me!

Then he also was putting different lenses on my camera. I really want a wide angle lens so he put that on my camera and WOW!!! I love it!!! I didn't like the price!! I took a picture with it so I can compare it also. I hope I can get that lens before I go to Paris!! I mentioned that would be great to take pictures of the Eiffel Tower and he agreed with me! :-) I might have to find a cheaper one though.

I really, really hate school!!!! Today after being on Spring break I had to go back to school. I had a test in American Government. I did horrible on this test!!! I went over the study guides but couldn't get all these committees all straight in my head. I am not sure where he came up with one of the essay questions! We hadn't talked about it in class. The next study guide for next week is kinda long! I have gotten things highlighted in my book, I just need to type all of it up. Thursday morning I get to see how bad I did on my mid-term in New Testament! I am soo sick of school! I am plan to study till my brains ooze out so I can be done!!!!

I should really be in bed at the moment. I was waiting for some laundry to be done so I can put it in the dryer before heading to bed. I am off to bed now!!!
