Two more days till vacation!
I am soo excited about being off work for awhile! I am hoping that I can work on organizing my house a little more. I would like to get my extra bedroom clean of the clutter so I can enjoy it! I worked on getting my bonus room a little bit more organized this morning. It still needs work but looks better! I even moved my printer out of the extra bedroom into my bonus room so that is a start of organizing my extra bedroom! I just need to figure out what to do with the desk in that room.
Well, I was one sleepy girl yesterday! I fell asleep a little after 10 a.m. and woke up at 0600 this morning! I woke up last night at 2120 and thought I must have been tired. I tried to watch TV only to fall asleep so I went back to bed. I can't believe I slept that long! The only problem with it is that I work tonight and I am not sleepy enough for a nap. I will be exhausted when I get off in the morning! This is the kind of sleeping that happens from working every other day on the night shift!
Nothing to exciting is going on. I am just ready to do some scrapbooking while I am on vacation! I will also have to spend time with my nieces after they get out of school. I might have them help me put together a puzzle and then glue it together for my kitchen. It is a Coca-Cola puzzle and will look good in my kitchen!

Merry Christmas!!
It is a day late but I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I finally got Christmas cards sent out but everyone will get them after Christmas! I had to work Christmas Eve into Christmas. It was NUTS at work! We had 28 patients by morning! We can hold 33! I wasn't expecting it to be that busy. It was probably a good thing we were busy as I was pretty tired! I didn't get to leave till 0800. I fell asleep for about four hours and was up for the rest of the day and went to my parents house. My Grandma came over too so it was a nice family Christmas!
I am still have gallbladder issues and I had an US last week but I haven't had any results called to me! Of course there office is closed today so I am going to call them when I get off from work in the morning! At work we had a Christmas dinner that was free so I didn't pass it up but oh my! I didn't feel good the rest of the night from abd and back pain! I believe I will stick to low-fat to non-fat from know on!
I ought to take a nap before going to work. I slept 13 hours last night! :-)

Another Lazy Sunday
I got up somewhat early and got my tree up today! I was trying to put the tree up and Felix was already wanting to climb the tree! I didn't put any of my breakable ornaments on the tree just in case! I have caught him a few times trying to climb it but I catch him before he gets very far! When I'm not at home there is no telling what he will do.
It is kinda strange not having to study but is nice! I was going to go to the Mudhouse tonight and it was actually closed for there Christmas party. I was dissapointed. It would be nice if we could shut down my work so we could have a Christmas party! Working in the hospital, that is impossible! I can dream though!
I have gotten some of my house cleaning done. I will just keep cleaning and organizing till it is all done! I got home tonight and decided to clean all my sheet for my bed and then forgot to put them in the drier! I should have 30 more minutes till they are dry and I can make my bed and then go to bed! I haven't been able to stay awake today!
I am dreading Thursday because of my dentist appointment. I don't know what to expect and sure hope that it is a breeze! I hope that I NEVER get another cavity! I do believe that one is enough!
I do believe that I am going to play with my Sims2 till my bed linens are dry! Later!

Finals are over!
I am soo excited to announce that finals are over! I am so relieved that they are done! I am also excited that I have made A's in my classes this semester! I have been a 4.00 student this year! I just hope I can keep it up but I have a feeling that Pathophysiology is going to be challenging.
I went to the dentist this week for my bi-annual check up and I got disturbing news! My dentist has always told me how perfect my teeth are because I have never had a cavity. He told me that I would be prone to cavities because of the groves in my back teeth. Well, he found a cavity! I can't believe it! He has some kind of laser thing that detects cavities before they will be picked up in x-ray and the reading was 99. I have no clue what that means! My dentist told me that it is in the very early stages that he won't have to numb my mouth. I have never had any dental work done before so I am kinda scared on what to expect. I just want it over with.
I was looking forward to this weekend so I could relax and scrapbook but something always gets in the way. I have not been feeling very good this week because I believe my gallbladder is acting up! I am having pain in right upper quadrant that will radiate to my back and sometimes I all of a sudden feel like I am going to vomit! I have had pains off on on this year but they started back up near Thanksgiving and I was hoping they would go away but instead it is just getting worse! I seems as if the more movement I make the more uncomfortable my stomach feels. I might end up with having gallbladder surgery while I am on break from school. That just truly sucks!
Somehow time has gotten away and it is 2 a.m.! I got all my Christmas stuff out and it is in my living room. I will have to tackle putting the tree up tomorrow!

Mouse in the house
Oh my! I woke up Friday afternoon and walked into the kitchen and there was a dead mouse next to the cats water/food bowls! I couldn't believe it! That mouse walked into a death trap with choosing to warm up in my house since I have three cats! He had no chance! I have a feeling that Felix was the one chasing it to its death and when it fell over from his heart attack he probably thought, "Oh we are done playing"! They didn't try to eat it at all - which I am glad!
I have been studying for my finals today and working on my take home final. This take home final for statistics isn't as easy as I thought it would be! I have forgotten how to figure z-scores and t-scores! The last problem on the test I thought would be a easy but the numbers are soo big and the answer is supposed to be less then 1 and mine isn't! I am hoping that everything will come back to me when I study my notes a little bit more. I need to be able to wake up somewhat early tomorrow to finish my final and then finish my study guide for Microeconomics. I just can't wait till these finals are over!
I almost have my voice back but I have this annoying cough now. It is getting better but this morning if I took a breath in, I was coughing! That was quite miserable! The coughing has been better tonight so I hope I wake up in the morning with it completely gone!

Less than one week till this semester is over!
WOOHOO!!!! It is getting so close and I can't wait for a break! I finished my paper on the book "Pilgrim's Progress" and I got a 100%!!! I was so thrilled! I have been working on my study guide for Microeconomics and finish up the homework I have for this class. Our instructor has decided to have our final online! That takes stress off from me! Getting that paper done has done wonders for my stress level! Once I get the homework done in this class, I need to start on my take home exam for Stats! I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!
My cold is finally getting better. I lost my voice by Tuesday and Wednesday it was a little better and today I feel like it might be coming back! I have got this cough that is driving me nuts! Being in the cold air doesn't help it either!
I finally got my internet switched. It wasn't an easy switch, I have to say. It never switched on so Tuesday morning I called them and ended up spending 50 minutes on the phone trying to get it to work! I was soo excited when we finally got it to work. I kept telling them that I had a wireless router. No problem they say. About a day later when I tried to use the internet, it wasn't working as well. I thought I would go to the desktop to the direct connection to get on the internet and no internet at all! I get on the phone to my internet people and they had to transfer me to a level 2 tecnician. They give me the rudiest technician! She kept telling me that things don't last forever and that my ethernet card wasn't working in my desktop - but it was. I couldn't get her to understand that. She just kept telling that I need to talk to the people who made my wireless router. I called them and while I was talking to them, I lose my connection to the internet again so I had to call my ISP back so I could get my router configered. When I notify my ISP again, the person I get this time tells me that I have to have my DSL modem bridged before I can hook it up to my router. Why couldn't they had told me that the first time I called? So I got it bridged and called the router people back and got my router configured and everything works great now! And the ethernet card is working fine - I have no idea where that one technician got the idea it wasn't working. Once that got stuck in her head, that was it! I am soo happy to have it all working and now trying to change my email with all my family, friends and emails websites has become a bit of a chore!
I had a funny incident when I was on the phone with a technician regarding my old laptop. The mouse has stopped working on it so he was walking me through how to possibly fix this. We had long pauses as we were waiting for the computer to load stuff up and he heard some music in the background. I was listening to PowerJams on the radio and they were playing the song by the Black Eyed Peas - My Humps on the radio. He ask me if I have teenagers in the home and I said no not knowing why he was asking me. He said "I hear My Humps in the background". I started laughing so hard since it was me listening to that radio station! We had a little fun talking about this when I was waiting on my computer. Come to find out I have to have my laptop sent in for repair because we couldn't get it repaired with the telephone support. At least it is still under warranty!
I had better get back to my studying so I can do good on my finals!

Here comes Santa Claus . . .
I took my cats to see Santa today! I don't think Santa was very thrilled about the idea of three cats but we made it work! He was kinda grumpy and he wasn't even trying to keep the cats on his lap. I liked the Santa they had last year - he was happy! The cats did good and Pandora and Felix did share a cat carrier but it was a little crowded for them! While I was at Petsmart today I did get Chloe a new carrier - it is a bag that you can carry over your shoulder. She is petite enough that this works for her. My other cats I don't think it would work as well. Chloe gets to go to the vets office this month for her yearly check-up in her new carrier! :-)
I have felt somewhat better today but still just want to sleep all the time! It took all my energy taking three cats to see Santa today! I got home and was going to go to the Mudhouse and ended up falling asleep on my futon in the process of that thought! I ended up waking up two hours later with my contacts dried to my eyeball. Yuck! I got up and got my stuff ready to go to the Mudhouse to do some studying.
Today my DSL is supposed to be activated. I have no idea what time but I hope it will be up when I wake up this afternoon! I had to go buy a new phone cord since I have to run cords upstairs to keep my wireless internet. I wish I had a phone jack upstairs then I wouldn't have cords running everywhere! That is the one advantage to my cable internet but the price is going up since my contract expires this month and I can't see paying $60 a month for internet service! I hope that I am happy with SBC Yahoo! account!
I can't believe that it is almost 0400! I need to get to bed!

Cold evening at the art walk
My sister and my nieces and I all went to the art walk last night. It was too cold to be looking at art! We didn't even get as far as we did last month. I can't wait till it gets warmer so these evenings will be more enjoyable! I woke up with a sore throat today and unable to breath! I haven't been in the mood to do anything today! I have slept off and on all day!
I had been at Barnes & Noble some tonight trying to work on my Microeconomics study guide. I am getting a good chunk of it done slowly but surely! I might even curl up in my bed soon and underline in pencil the answers and then just type them up. That will make it go faster to me!
I was going to take my cats to see Santa today at Pets-mart but I wasn't feeling very good so I have to take them tomorrow! I can't wait! I will scan the pic to share with everybody! My cats are always in shock when we do this and are well behaved! I only have two cat carriers and three cats! Last year Felix wasn't full grown and he always shares with Pandora. I hope that will work again! Chloe is actually the smallest of the three put she has the biggest temper of the three! She doesn't share very well!
I am going to take some cold medicine and curl up in bed and hope that osmosis takes place with my Microeconomics book! :-)

Only 2 weeks till finals!
I have been busy working the last week and I get a four day weekend and can't wait! Even though, I have to much work to do for my Microeconomics class! The study guide for that class is 80 questions! I also have to write a paper for the Pilgrims Progress book I have been reading. My Statistics class tonight was easy, I thought! I was understanding everything on the first try! A lady that sits behind me called me and this other girl that I sit next to the "whiz kids"! She says that we just punch everything in our calculator and we are done and she is still trying to figure it out! I haven't always felt like a "whiz kid" but at least I look it!
Thanksgiving was a good day, or I should say the day after! Not for the shopping but that is when my family got together since I had to work Thanksgiving. My Grandma was there and it was nice for us all to be together.
Has anyone every tried this Sudoku puzzle? I was at Barnes & Noble one night and they have books everywhere on how to work this puzzle. I went home and looked it up on the internet and figured out how to solve this puzzle! I went and got me a book tonight so I can have more to solve and have some solutions in the back when I get stuck. They say that you can work them in 10 to 30 minutes but it has taken me a little longer! I am hoping when I get faster at this I can do it faster and then work up to the "evil" puzzles!
It has gotten quite cold here and I am not really enjoying it! I am not a cold weather person at all! I need to go South for the winter!
I need to finish some homework that is due today for Microeconomics. I had better get busy so I can get some sleep!

Another day in the life of . . . . .
I rented a couple of movies tonight. My plan was to straighten up my house and organize some things but I need to replenish my diet A&W and on the way to the store to do that I stop and rented movies. I watched the movie "Crash" - good but kinda sad. I normally don't watch sad movies but I didn't realize that it was going to be sad! I would recommend it. I watched it on my laptop in my bonus room as I made the cards for a swap I am in! I have to say that I tackled the new blinds for my bonus room and they are up. I just needed to do it another day since they had me so frustrated last night.
I got a few errands done today - one being my oil being changed. It ended up being pricier than I thought. My sister had given me a coupon for $10 off synthetic oil change. I found out AFTER my oil has been changed that my bill came to $56 even with my $10 discount. The guy told me that I should see an improvement in my gas mileage. I had better! Beware of synthetic oil - it is expensive.
I went to the Mudhouse tonight to get some studying done which actually didn't really get any done. When I first got there it was quiet and I hadn't checked the message boards I like to read. It always takes awhile to get through all of that! By the time that I was ready to get serious, it was packed! It was too loud in there that I couldn't concentrate on what I was reading so I packed up and left. When I go outside to my car I have a note on my car. Hoping it was a love not from a secret admirer but no such luck. It was a note telling me to look at my front license plate and they "didn't know if it was like that before". The truck parked in front of you with license plate of ___________. I stood back and oh my! My front license plate is bent completely out of shape! I just stood there in disbelief that this has happened. It doesn't look like any other part of my car was damaged but my license plate. I guess that is good but how do you go about getting new license plates? And to top it off I have personalized plates! ARGH!!!! I wish people would just watch what they are doing! They changed all the parking to parellel parking downtown so I wonder how many other people this has happened too.
I need to get to bed so I can get me some good sleep in my nice warm bed! Mmmmm!

Craziness!
I made a stop at Circuit City last night and there were people with tents, chairs, sodas outside the store. I wondered what was going on. I went inside the store and that left my mind as soon as I entered and conducted the business I had. When I left the store, as I saw the camping people again, I thought what are they doing? I saw a sign outside the doors "line starts here for XBOX 360"! I thought these people were crazy just to camp outside of the store all night just to get an XBOX 360! It isn't warm enough to do stuff like that for a video game console!
My days off from work go way to fast! Today will be my fifth day off from work and I don't feel as if I have gotten that much accomplished. I was going around doing things I need to do around the house and thought I would hang my new blinds for my bonus room. That left me frustrated and decided to go downstairs and watch a movie. I got the first brackets up and was ready to attach the blinds when I realized that I didn't mount it far enough to the edge. I have tried to unscrew one of the brackets and it won't move. I thought I would at least hang the second and remembered to mount them on the very edge. Well, when I was trying to use my drill with the screwdriver mount to help me get the screws in, the head of the screw broke lose and my bracket had nothing to hold on to! Now I have two screws without the head and I still have to remount for the bracket! I have waited since July to finally get these and it has been a mess trying to get them up!
I haven't been able to sleep until around 0500 everyday. I think I got myself all mixed up when I slept until 1600 on Saturday and I haven't been able to get back on track. I guess there is no reason to get back on track.
I watched Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. Interesting. I couldn't remember what it was about but wasn't expecting it to be what it was. It was okay.
I feel as if I might be able to fall asleep. I do believe my cats and I need to go to bed.

Lazy Sunday
I am at the Mudhouse, supposed to be studying but so far haven't started and I have been here for 2 hours! I spent the first 1 1/2 hours having a nice talk with a friend. :-) I realized today that if I am going to get my homework done for my classes which aren't due till another 1 1/2 weeks that I have to do them before returning to work on Wednesday. I am working a crazy schedule because of the holidays. I work two days, off one, work three days, off one then work one day then off for four days! I will be in a coma by then! I guess if I had to I could get some homework done this Friday but I am sure I will be to sleepy and won't accomplish much.
I won't get to spend Thanksgiving with my family as I have to work the day before and the night of turkey day. My Mom was trying to have it a day I was going to be off and I was working it too! Oh well. I will get to spend with my second family - my co-workers! That won't be that bad. Our patient census normally drops around the holidays so we will see what happens.
I guess I should be figuring out ANOVA for my statistics class and then tackeling my Microeconomics class which I have a discussion and a quiz to take. It is starting to get busy at the Mudhouse - it was like a ghost town earlier!

Dreaming of the Caribbean
"Work so hard night and day
now we get the payback
trying so hard, saving up the paper
and now we get to lay back" Luxurious - Gwen Stefani
I love this new song from Gwen Stefani! The main part of this song makes me think about my vacation I am planning to take! I have worked hard, saved up the paper and now I get the payback to lay back! And on the beach for that! WOOHOOO!!!!
I really think St. Lucia is the island for me! I have learned that I can go hiking and go biking in the rainforest! Ahhhh, I am so excited about that! I still need to get in touch with my travel agent to see when I could go. She might now of more adventures I could take!
Well, I haven't been too productive. All I have done is sleep!!!! Since Friday morning I have slept 24 hours!?!?!?! I went to bed last night at 0100 and thought I would have no problem waking up at 1000 but instead slept through the alarm and woke up at 1600! I had slept 9 hours during the day Friday after getting off from work! The funny thing is that I still feel tired. I just hope that I can sleep tonight so I can have a somewhat normal day tomorrow!

Ready for this semester to be over!
I thought another countdown was in order! I had another Stats test today. Not sure what to think. We were able to use our notes but I am unsure how I did. The true and false is what always throws me off! I have one assignment to do in Microeconomics that is due later. I won't have to return to school for two weeks! WOOHOO!!! I have some statistics homework to do but I am unsure if we will get a new assignment in Microeconomics or if he will wait till after the break.
I have my application for a passport and actually went to talk to a travel agent about going to the South Pacific. Well, those trips are $3,000 to $5,000!!! I might opt for a cheaper trip for now. I am looking into St. Lucia so I can see rainforest! I haven't priced it yet and I am unsure when I would be able to go. I am thinking about next summer since I won't be in school. I want to go to the beach!
I probably should go to bed as I have to get up early to finish my assignment in my class. I am still addicted to reading those travel blogs! I will have one of my own someday!

My paradise
I thought I would share my latest layout for the circle journal I am in. This circle journal was titled "Where is your paradise?". I choose the beaches on the island of Oahu of Hawaii. This was a gorgeous beach! The day that I visited this beach the movie "Blue Crush" was being filmed. When I watched that movie I was able to recognize the beach they surfed at! I had better get to bed! I return to work today and don't want to be too much of a zombie!

Last day of vacation . . . .
It is a sad day as it is my last day of vacation and I don't want to go back to work tomorrow. I will have another vacation in January and that really isn't that far then it starts with me on vacation once a month till July! Isn't that awesome?!?!?!?! I have worked at my job a very long time and have worked up good vacation benefits. They are getting ready to change our vacation benefits so it better not ruin me being able to take a week a month! If it does, I will just leave the country! :-)
I had a few errands to run today at certain goverment agencies. They are always so much fun to deal with! My experience wasn't bad at all. While I was on that side of town I went and got my application for a passport!!!!! I can't wait! I found out today that my birth certificate has the proper seal so I don't have to request a new one! WOOHOO!!!!!!! As soon as I have the money, I am going to get my passport and start saving money so I can see new places!
Yesterday I went and rode my bike at the trails and it was a little chilly! But I went 7 miles yesterday. I hope to keep building till I can go 10 miles at a time and more if I can! I need a longer trail almost!
I am at the Mudhouse, as I am frequently, to study but I haven't gotten very far. I didn't bring my Microeconomics book as I didn't have a new assignment but when I got logged into my computer my new assignment had been posted. I have been waiting for my study guide to be posted for my Statistics test and it hasn't yet. I hope it happens soon because I work the next three nights and the next day I should have awake is the day of the test! I had better get busy!

Independent or Dependent? The question of the day!
Last night was my Dad's birthday and I spent the evening at my parents house. We grilled out turkey dogs on the chimnea in the backyard. The weather has been very nice here! I wish it could be like this all the time! I hope that my Dad had a wonderful birthday!
I mentioned last night to my parents that we should not buy gifts for each other for Christmas. Instead we should put our money together and go on a vacation. They didn't go for it. My little niece told me no we need gifts. So I guess we aren't going with my idea. . . . .
I have been addicted reading the travel blogs. I want to be like the people that quit there jobs and travel for a year! One couple's blog I have been reading is very interesting! They have had some scary moments but a lot of fun moments! I have been able to learn about different countries and different parts of this world that I didn't even know existed! If you ever want to learn peoples adventures go there! I am even going to work on a travel blog and tell my adventures up to this point and hopefully future adventures!
I had my Statistics class tonight and we learned about dependent testing. I can do the math but to figure out if you are doing independent or dependent testing is still a little confusing to me! I will have to read the book more to see if I can understand it better! We have a test next week that I am a little scared about! There are too many formulas to remember!
I have got to get busy with working on my swaps and some scrapbooking journals for my circle journal I am in!
Sunday, November 06, 2005
Oops . . . . .
Well, I learned how to get EVERYONES attention at the Mudhouse tonight. I was getting something out of my bag when I guess I tugged on the cord of the lamp that was sitting on my table. I fell to the floor and the bulb shattered! Oh my! All you could here was gasp and everyone staring at me! Good grief! Sure didn't mean to do that! The funny thing of this is that I was sitting at a table without a lamp and I decided I needed a table with a lamp so I moved to a table with a lamp. In the end, I should have stayed at the other table because I was left studying without a lamp anyway. I did get my homework done though so I really don't have anymore homework to do till Tuesday when I end up with more! I am in the process of straightening things up in my house then I am going to start on these swaps that I am in!
Wonderful vacation
I have really enjoyed my vacation so far. The first Friday of every month we have an artwalk downtown. I asked my sister if she wanted to go with me as she has always wanted to major in art. We took Shilo, Jasmine and Justice with us too. It was fun - and alot of people! I don't think I had ever seen that many people downtown! It was a great time and we didn't even get to every place that was participating! I am hoping to go back in December so I can see more art, if I get off from work that is.
Saturday my sister and I decided to go bike riding. We rode our bikes 6 miles with Shilo and Justice! Shilo was worn out from it! I just love riding me bike! I just wish I had more time for it and that the weather wasn't getting ready to get cooler!
I also went to the movies last night and saw Saw II. It was awesome! I must have been really into it as it seemed as if the movie just started and it was over but in reality it was 1 1/2 hours long. The ending was awesome! It even made me understand the first Saw a little bit more and a possiblity for a Saw III. It was well worth seeing!
Today has been a lazy day. Except I did mop the kitchen floor, I don't consider that a lazy moment! I am currently at the Mudhouse getting ready to finish my homework for the week and start reading "Pilgrims Progress" by John Bunyan. It is a forced reading for my Microeconomics class and the I have to write a short paper about it. I just hope that I can get this book done in time for me to write the paper. I like to read books at leisure and it can take me a month or two to read a book since I normally just read before I go to bed. Sometimes waking up with the book as my pillow!
I had better get serious about studying!

Two peas in a bucket - Meme challenge #16
a meme is an idea that is shared and passed from blog to blog, like a question posted in one blog and answered in many other blogs.
This weeks challenge from two peas in a bucket is to list your top ten of scary movies. Mine are:
1. Silence of the Lambs
2. Grudge
3. Saw (Can't wait till I can see Saw II)

5. Ring 1 & 2
6. Cujo
7. Poltergeist
8. It
9. Carrie
10. Amityville Horror - the original
I love scary movies! The movie in this list that I that was the scariest (it was based on true events) was Mothman Prophecies. SCARY!!!! Anyway, I believe I am ready for bed and will have to pursue additional blogging later! :-)

Maybe a normal day . . . .
I actually woke up at 10 a.m. this morning after sleeping all night! I just find that amazing since I accidentally slept through my alarm Tuesday and woke up late in the afternoon! Maybe I can get on a somewhat normal schedule while I am on vacation. :-)
Last night I loaded the Sims 2 nightlife onto my computer. My Sims can date now and even have a meter to let you know how the date is going. I haven't learned all the ins and outs of the nightlife version yet. Not even sure I learned everything you can do in the University expansion pack yet!
Well, I have tried my luck at some home repairs and I have failed! Ever since I moved into my house, I never installed my shower head that I have. I went to Lowe's last night and bought me some teflon tape so I can do this myself. How hard could this be? Well, I can't get the old shower head off! I have used all my power and it won't come loose. If the shower head has been there since 1953 when my house was built, it might be there forever! A couple of months ago I was sick and tired of the slow leak from my sink in the bathroom so I tried to tighten it (with my bare hands) and it won't turn on at all now. I thought I could fix this with some pliers to open it back up - no such luck. It just spins in a circle! I compared it to the cold water side and I do believe I need a new seat in my faucet. What a bummer! I need to hang up a new smoke detector to and I think I can handle that since I don't have to mess with any wires. I started that this morning and figured out I am going to have to drill a new hole in the ceiling. It would be nice to have a handy man around the house but I haven't found me one good enough to keep! :-)
I was looking around on the internet last night at travel blogs. I love reading about peoples adventures and hope to someday have an adventure to tell! I have had a few adventures but I want more! My two adventures I really enjoyed was Hawaii and Mexico. I really would enjoy going back to Hawaii cause I want to go to Kaena point and ride my mountain bike or hike it! I need to go on an adventurous vacation next year. I need to start training now so I can run up Diamond Head! :-) Here is a link to a gorgeous picture of Wakiki Beach and Diamond Head. Hopefully someday soon!

Picture problems
I am having difficulty getting pictures to post. Those cute pictures of my nieces I can't get to post. I am trying a new entry to see if I have the same problems. If there are no pics, then it didn't work and I will try again tomorrow!
Finally . . . .
I am thinking about going to Laguna Beach for my next vacation. Or some other beach that would be somewhat warm. I have to get out of this town! For some reason this year when the weather started getting cold it has really bothered me! I hate cold weather and I wish I could go south for the winter! Maybe someday I can be like the birds and fly south but until that day I am stuck here. I am going to work on getting my passport cause starting the beginning of the year you have to have one to leave the country - even places that didn't require one before. I want to be able to travel at the last minute if needed and have the world as my limit! I would rather just travel the rest of my life instead of be stuck in one place. *sigh* I might have to go and be a travel nurse after all to get rid of the travel bug or it might make me realize that I really do like it here. I like the big city life and where I live sure isn't big city life! It is a boring conservative town!
I am currently sitting in the Mudhouse. When I first got here tonight it was empty and now it is pretty full. My table I am sitting at keeps sliding forward and I keep nudging the guy in front of me. They have removed a rug that was on the floor and my table keeps sliding with a little bit of pressure. If he was cute, it would be alright cause I keep getting his attention. Oh well, maybe better luck next time!
I get to spend time with my nieces tomorrow and Jasmine has been bugging me cause I keep going to the Mudhouse without her so I think I will take them both to the Mudhouse tomorrow afternoon after they get out of school. Then I am going to be meeting up with my sister and going to MSU to see a play with one of Jasmine's friends are going to be in.
Monday night we went to a church to celebrate Halloween. It was pouring down rain all day Saturday so it wasn't very good weather for trick or treating. I took cute pictures of my nieces in there Halloween outfits! They went as 50's girls with poodle skirts that my Mom made!
Oh my! I have been sitting here at the Mudhouse for 4 hours and I need to get out of this place!

Only 3 more days!
I am just a little bit excited about my up coming vacation! I plan on scrapbooking and possibly painting my kitchen if I get really ambitious! I have been able to sleep tonight as yesterday I slept 16 hours! OMG!!!! I don't remember that last time I got that much sleep! I had another one of my allergy attacks and I was worn out from it! Sneezing ought to be an aerobic activity! I also took two benadryl and went to sleep - and woke up with one of my cats on top of me probably wanting to be fed!
I went scrapbook shopping yesterday to hunt for papers to make my swaps that I am in. I was hoping to find more halloween stuff than what I did. I was going to go to Micheals and Hobby Lobby today but my sleeping stunt made that impossible! Hopefully next week when I am on vacation I can have a normal schedule! I am hoping to start working out next week and hopefully get back into that good habit I used to have!
School is going pretty good. I got an email yesterday about my group project and we were the bomb!!! My instructor said that we were the best group and even gave us extra credit! WOOHOO!!!!!! I was soo excited about this! We still have more to do on this project when our teacher post what the next step is but I am sure that we can do it! Statistics is okay. I was sitting at the Mudhouse last night to work on my homework and it probably spent two hours trying to figure out why I wasn't coming up with the same answer that the teacher came up with from the examples he gave us. For some reason it finally came to me what I was doing wrong! It was soo simple what I had done so I finally got about half of my homework done after I figured that out. I was in there studying for about 4 hours and couldn't take it anymore! I went home and finally balanced my check book! I hate it when I let my check book get that out of balance but it is all okay know!
I am going to work on some of my scrapbooking swaps so till next time . . . . . . .

Only 5 more days . . . . . .
Till my vacation from work! I can't wait! After last week and the way things happened last night at work I definitely need this vacation! Tuesday morning when I was finishing up my charting I couldn't get to during the night, the alaris pump people was coming in to start the transition to the new pumps! I might have an anxiety attack this weekend and end up on vacation earlier! I am going to feel soo stupid with these new pumps and the patients will wonder "She is my nurse? She doesn't even know how to program the IV pump?!". I am sure once I get used to the pumps it will all be fine -- just getting to that point is what is going to take me awhile. I will get it figured out this weekend and then be on vacation for almost two weeks and forget it all! AHHHH!!!!!! The same thing happened when we started computer charting earlier this year and I am doing fine with that know.
Has anyone every watched Laguna Beach? I watch that show mainly to see the ocean and all those gorgeous homes! I think I need to go there . . . . It makes me want to go on a vacation. Maybe I need to plan a vacation in January for my next vacation. I will have to check around and see what I can pull off! Maybe that would get me motivated to start working out and eating healthier!
I finally got my new fridge last week and it is kinda funny. I went grocery shopping and the fridge still looks bare! He He!!! Ever since getting this new fridge, which is white to go with my Coca-Cola kitchen, I am getting motivated to paint my kitchen! Currently the walls are still the same as when I moved in which are a pale green with this UGLY wallpaper border! The floor is an off white with some kind of design and it looks dirty next to a white fridge. Maybe my fridge breaking down will cause me to get started on working on my kitchen!
I thought I was going to get some homework done when I got on the computer but that hasn't happened. I also need to balance my check book. That has become a major chore to me anymore! I used to stay on top of it but not anymore! I am just enjoying the tunes I have downloaded (legally) on my windows media player. I am excited cause I actually have two more days off till I have to return to work and I am going to leisurely do my homework and then do some scrapbook shopping for some swaps I am in. :-) I guess I should be more productive and get some things done before going to bed!

Busy week!
I finally got me a new fridge on Wednesday and soo glad to have a fridge again! I was so glad that the company I bought my new fridge at hauled my broken down one away! Besides that, I have been busy at work and school and just chilling with a friend of mine. My work schedule this week has been stupid, if you ask me. They have me working every other day this week with working nights. I hate working every other day! I have only 10 more days till I am on vacation! WOOHOOO!!! I'm not going any where, just not to work!
Fall Break was last week at school and one of my classes didn't give us any homework to do. Well, Monday our teacher emailed everybody and gave us two weeks worth of stuff to do in one week to make up for not doing anything on fall break. I am frustrated about that! I have some studying to do this weekend!
The pic I posted today makes me have the travel bug. I haven't been anywhere fun and interesting in a couple of years and I think I am way overdue for a exotic vacation! Maybe I can plan that next year - I just need to get my passport so I can go anywhere!
I should get some sleep. I have been super tired but can't get to sleep! I need sleep before I go to work tonight or it is going to be a long night!!!!!

My refrigerator is melting . . . . . .
I wake up this morning at 0145 and walk into my kitchen to see that liquid is dripping from my freezer. I open it up and the popsicles that was in the side door has melted and dripping between the rubber seal to the floor. It has been making funny noises the last few days. Hmmmm . . . . . . not a good sign. My fridge came with my house when I bought it and I don't really know how old it is but I think I need a new one! I am frustrated about this cause I don't know when I am going to have time to even shop for a new fridge till a week from know because of my work schedule. I guess I need to stock up on non-perishable items till I can get this problem solved.
I finally got my yard mowed today! That might be why my I can't breathe through my nose right now. I am soooo glad that I finally got this done! I have soo many loose sticks in my back yard from all the trees that I can use my firepit! WOOHOO!!!!!
After I got done mowing my yard, I thought that I would go work on my statistics homework. I tend to get more done if I am not at home so I went to Barnes & Noble to sit in the cafe. I get there and start getting my homework out and realize that I don't have writing utensil with me! I ended up just reading some magazines and going back home and fell asleep to later wake up to the melting fridge! I should try to get some more sleep.

Fall break, kinda . . . .
Felix has been wanting my attention today! I was trying to study for my statistics test and had all my notes spread out on the kitchen table and he would lay down in the middle of it! I would put him down and back up he was! He just loves his mother but his mother was stressing over z-scores!!! As cute as he is, I had to pack up my studies and I went to the Mudhouse and studied till I had to be at class tonight. I worked on reading and understand a paragraph the instructor wrote on our study guide and that paid off! It was the fill-in-the-blank! (Or as my instructor wrote it on our test - Phil-in-the-blankz!)
I finished my Statistics test tonight and it wasn't as hard as I was thinking it was going to be. I made sure to look up what he did put on the study guide and it helped! There was one question that I had no idea what he wanted or where it was in our notes. I hope that we get these test back! I still haven't seen what I got on the second statistics test. Today the lecture after the test went over my head! I am going to have to read into hypothesis, one tail and two tail testing more. I was able to do the math but why we are doing the math, I have no idea! The rest of this week is fall break so I don't have as much to do this week with school. I just have to figure out my homework for statistics before next Tuesday . . . . .
Anyway, I am actually sleepy tonight and hope I can fall asleep tonight. The last two nights I haven't been able to fall asleep till 7am! Then that makes me trying to get out of bed at least by noon to get things done! I guess doing that two days in a row is catching up with me. I need to do laundry then I can go to bed!

Meme challenge #14
Here is my collage for the meme challenge on 2peas! I hope you enjoy!
That was fun! I had to do it a second time because I was at a coffee shop and couldn't print and thought I had saved but it didn't when I got back home. I liked my first one better but ohhh well!
I went and did my training on the new IV pumps we are getting at work tonight so I don't have to worry about that anymore. At least till we get them on the floor and I forgot everything! It doesn't seem to hard, it is just a change from what I am used to! What I find exciting is that we can run blood through these pumps! WOOHOO!!!!
I have been trying to study for my statistics class and I am getting scared about my test Tuesday evening. I will just keep studying till I understand it. I just hope I understand it before class tomorrow night! I had better go finish studying!

Another hacker?!?!?!?!?!?
I just don't understand it. The Scrapjammies message board has yet again been hacked! I can't believe it! Why does someone want to ruin our scrapbooking fun? I hope that the message board come back up soon as it is an addiction of mine, along with a few other message boards. :-)
Other than the hackers striking again, I had a wonderful day! I had a rude awaking by my sister today! Good thing she called. All the allergy medicine I took I didn't wake up till 1320 today! She woke me up and told me to get up and get ready and take more allergy medicine and meet her at the biking trails. Oh my! I got up and finally met her at 1445. I was dragging with the aftermaths of my allergy attack and didn't think I would have the energy to ride my bike. I found the energy! My sister and I had to keep track of four little girls all between the ages of 8-10! That can be a job! I had a great time riding bikes and I will have to do that again very soon! There was also Art in the Park this weekend and I ran into a couple people I work with. It was a very nice afternoon in the park!
Then I went to a friends apartment and we went and hung out at the Mudhouse. I was supposed to be studying my Statistics but it didn't happen. That is alright cause I don't really understand z-scores! Tomorrow I have to study my Statistics! I do better under pressure so maybe I can get something accomplished.
I should be sleeping but I'm not. I am trying out a new feature on my computer with the lightscribe technology. It burns a label on your disk! How awesome is that? I am burning the label as I blog. I does take to long! The program told me it would be done in 30 minutes! It had better look good if I have to wait that long! :-)

Meet Snowy
I spent the evening at my sister's house and got to see my nieces and there new bunny, Snowy! He is cute and loves to hop around the house. My sister gave him a bath today to make him gorgeous!
I went to the Loft walk today downtown and the weather was rather nice for walking around. I choose the wrong shoes cause my arches hurt halfway through. I need to remember this for future Loft walks. I always have one loft I can't find. I was walking around circles at the square trying to find Loft #4 and it was nowhere to be found! I really liked Loft #3 and always enjoy seeing how people have things decorated. I really like the tile look on the kitchen counters. Someday I am going to redo my kitchen counters and hopefully I can use some of the ideas that I have seen.
I woke up today with my allergies bothering me and I guess walking downtown with all the ragweed in the air didn't help. All I have done tonight is sneeze! I have sneezed so much that my voice doesn't want to work. I hate my allergies. It needs to freeze so that it will kill off the ragweed! I need to mow my yard but it will only make my allergies worse. I need to get my face mask out and look like an alien as I mow my yard! I am hoping that this will be the last time that I have to mow this year. I have been falling asleep waiting for my bed sheets to get dry. The dryer buzzed so I took two Benadryl and went to take my bed linens out only to find that they are still damp!! So I am waiting for them to be dry and hope I don't pass out before they are. :-)
Tomorrow my sister and I are going to ride bikes together!! WOOOHOOOO! I am sooo excited! I have to dig my bike rake out of the garage and check out my bike and see what I need to do, if anything, to get it ready! I just hope that my allergies are better by morning . . . .

It's FFFFFRRRREEEEZZZZZING!!!!!!
I woke up this morning with the temp. in my house at 63 degrees! All my cats were all on my bed trying to stay warm! I have a waterbed and I can tell when it gets cold outside cause they sleep on it all the time! I feel like my face was frozen! I am not ready for all this cold weather! I want to get my bike out before it gets too cold and ride around the neighborhood. I haven't ridden my bike in over a year, maybe two! I am not going to be the next Lance Armstrong at this pace!
I am excited because today is the loft walk downtown! I am going to be awake for it this year! The last few years I have had to work the night before and get off at 0700, try to get some sleep and go. I have gotten there late and not been able to see all the lofts. This year I am going to see them all and enjoy my walk downtown! I hope it isn't too chilly outside. My temp. in my house has me concerned about this!
I think I am going to got huttle in my bed with my cats to get warmed back up. Hopefully when I wake back up it will be a little bit warmer in my home!

Testing out HTML codes
Web Work in Progress!
Sorry for all the mess, but I haven't quite got around to implementing this section yet. Hopefully I'll have everything up and running real soon.
Click here to go back to my home page.
Well - I wrote the above in HTML code. I can't get the picture to show up though and don't know why it won't. I got my idiot's guide to HTML from the library so I hope to make something of this book!

Countdown till my next vacation
Trash service and gas prices
I called my trash company today to send me more bags for my trash. I started using the bag service a couple of years ago since I don't have that much trash and it was cheaper for me to do it that way. Today I got told they weren't going to do that and that they will be picking up those bags till Dec. 31, 2005. I wondered why they didn't tell me before this. What if I had bags that would last me through next year? It has taken me 7 months to go through 15 bags! She told me the reason that they were cancelling the bag service was because of the gas prices and people in outlying communities that have this and don't put it out every week and that is wasting there gas. They still will have a bag service but I have to use my own bags and then it would be $7.50 a month but I would have a limit on how many bags I could put out. I told her I had to check around first and she told me I wasn't going to find anyone with bag service anymore. Well, I did! HA! From the other company I can get 30 bags and that would last me a whole year! As soon as I use my last bag with the other company, I am switching! :-)
10 favorite movie lines and other stuff.
Here is the challenge from 2 peas in a bucket for this week:
My favorite movie lines are:
1. "I gave her my heart, and she gave me a pen" - Say Anything
2. (Converstation took place on the ice skating rink)
"Favorite New York moment?"
"This ones moving up the chart." - Serendipity
3. "This time without the opps" - Independence Day
4. (Geena Davis said this when they were putting a cop in the trunk of his car. He begged her not to shoot him because he had a wife and she said...)
"You do? Well you be sweet to her. My husband wasn't nice to me and look how I turned out."
- Thelma & Louise
5. "How about this for a number: six. That's how old my other daughter is. Eight is the age of my son. Two is how many times and I have been married and divorced. Sixteen is the number of dollars I have in my bank account. 850-3943. That's my phone number and with all the numbers I gave you, I'm guessing zero is the number of times your going to call it"
-Erin Brockovich
6. "You know, taking us out for ice cream in the middle of a blizzard make you wonder who the real whack jobs are." -Girl, Interrupted
7. "I am in a dress. I have gel in my hair. I am armed and I 'm starved, don't mess with me!"
-Miss Congeniality
8. "I've probably burned truckloads of your stuff before, I can't remember to forget you."
-Memento
9. "I see dead people" -Sixth Sense
10. "I only speak two languages: English and bad English." -The fifth element
Well, I am typing into my blog for the first time with my new laptop! My other laptop needs repairs that my service plan won't cover and it was going to cost me ~$1000 to repair. (All from the water spilling incident) So I went shopping last week and found me a laptop with all the coolest stuff! I am still trying to transfer programs and my contact list from Outlook but is going good. My Sims2 game plays quite well on this computer as I had it upgraded to 1GB RAM plus a 256 MB card that was in my computer. It also has the lightscribe technology that I haven't figured out quite yet.
My Microeconomics class is driving me nuts! I study and study for these quizzes that are on blackboard and I don't do very well. It is also open book! My instructor words things in such a way it doesn't sound like what is in the book but it really is. I am getting nervous about the final if the quizzes are this hard. The final isn't going to be open book as we have to go to class that night!
Statistics I guess is going okay. I have a test next week and I am nervous about it because of the z-scores. Last week I understood them and then today when we went over the homework I wasn't understanding where he was getting certain numbers. This weekend I have got to study my Statistics so I can do good on this test! He still hasn't given back our second test that we took. I don't understand what is up with that! I want to know my score!
I have just been relaxing tonight since I don't have any pressing issues that I have to get done tonight. Just sitting back and listening to music on Napster. I upgraded my membership and have really enjoyed it since I have! I think I am going to play the Sims2 after I get done with my blog.
I got me a book from the library about the idiot's guide to HTML. I am hoping to learn different things that I can do to my blog. I see other people change colors and format with different pictures so I want to know how to do that too! I want to be cool too!

2 peas in a bucket
I signed up a long time ago on the 2 peas in a bucket website but never really went back to it. I was reading various blogs and then was linked back to 2 peas in a bucket website and was reading about a challenge about 10 weird things about yourself. I have been reading all kinds of blogs from various scrapers and there list. I thought I would make a list too and it is:
- I am allergic to cats and have 3 cats. (I didnt realize that I was allergic to cats till I had an allergy test done when I was 21 and I had a cat for 5 years already. My allergy doctor tells me I would be a new women if I would get rid of my cats but I am a huge cat lover and it isnt happening!)
- I havent ate red meat in 12 years. It started out as a new years resolution and it stuck! I went one year with only eating red meat if I was eating at a resturant and then the next year I quite eating red meat all together. The health studies say to eat less red meat . . .
- I would love to learn more than one language. I self taught myself some Spanish when I was preparing to go to Mexico, which I understood very little when I was in Mexico! I would also love to learn how to speak German.
- I check my email often when I am at home! I enjoy getting mail and email on a daily basis! (The mail is only fun if I get a magazine that I subscribe to or receive a card or letter from friends or family!)
- I wish that I lived closer to the ocean. I have asked my parents why I was born here and why did they stay in this boring town? I have a nice life here but it isnt close enough to the ocean!
- I love bicycling and would love to have the endurance to ride in the Tour De France like Lance Armstrong. Blow the crowd away!
- I would love to travel the world and see what different cultures are like, how they live and there daily routines.
- I really enjoy retro objects. I am hoping to decorate my extra bedroom with a retro feel to it! I found the perfect store that sell all retro furniture/objects downtown! :-)
- I love the outdoors and going on hiking adventures in parks with trails.
- I am a huge Macy Gray fan and I was lucky to be cruising the internet for things to do in St. Louis one day and found out she was putting on a FREE concert at the riverfront! I got to stand in the front row and caught a bottle of water she threw in the crowd!
I will have to start reading through the 2 peas in bucket message board more often to keep up with the new challenges that may be posted! I need to go to bed, another weird thing is that I am constantly sleep deprived!

Hissy kitty!
Pandora and Felix visit to the vet wasnt a welcoming one. I got the cat carriers out and everyone splits! They know that something is going down that they are going to like! We meowed all the way to the vet! Pandora did okay and let them do what they needed without much of a fight. Felix was ready for a fight! Felix is such a calm, loving kitty. When he had things stuck where they didnt belong that was it for him! We got the hardest part over with and then when the vet came in to do the examination he hissed and growled at everybody, even his mother! The vet told Felix not to bite the hand that feeds him! I thought that was good advice for my dear little Felix! At least he didnt try to bite or scratch. The psycho cat, Rambo, that lives at the vets office didnt make an appearance at the front desk. In June when I was taking Chloe to get groomed Rambo was rubbing all over me and sat down in the chair next to me. I reached over to pet him since he was being all loveable and he BITE ME!!!! I still have the scars on my arm! It swelled up and it hurt to move my hand the more it swelled. I went to the doctor that day and he put me on antibiotics. I have taken care of patients in the hospital with cat bites and they can get pretty nasty and I didnt want to be one of those patients. It healed up fine but I dont like Rambo! But anyway, Pandora and Felix was happy to be at home and I thought that they wouldnt pay attention to me the rest of the day but they have. They are probably thankful I didnt leave them there! :-)
Time flys when your having fun!
Last weekend went way to fast! Friday I ended up sleeping all day, just what I didnt want to do! I couldnt sleep at all Friday night cause of it! I only got a few hours of sleep Saturday morning. I finally got up and went to a new coffee house here in town and did a little research for my Microeconomics class. Then I went back home to get ready for a party at a friends house. I had a good time at my friends. We sat around and talked, played video games and played a card game. Then another friend and I went downtown and went dancing for the rest of the evening. I enjoyed myself and the company friends! Then Sunday I went to a loft walk on commercial street. I think that is the scary part of town and wouldnt want to live in a loft in the area of town! The people that live there say that it is safe - but then said they knew the cops that worked that area. To me, that isnt a good sign! I dont know the cops in the area I live in because so far I havent had any problems! They were very nice lofts. In a couple of weeks is another loft walk that is downtown. I cant wait to see that one! Then I finished up my work for Microeconomics and didnt understand my Stats homework to finish it. I couldnt believe when Sunday came cause I had to go back to work the next day! I didnt get any scrapbooking done like I was hoping! I did accomplish to bath 2 of my cats. They have appointments with the vet today for a yearly checkup and I want them to be gorgeous! Pandora and Felix has super soft fur now! They were mad at me for a while but they are over it know! Chloe always get professionaly groomed. Her hair is too long and I get it in tangles which makes for a grouchy cat! I always have my vet groom her at least once a year. I had her groomed in June this year and I have been able to keep up with her tangles. She finally enjoys being brushed since it doesnt cause pain without any knots! I hope I can keep her hair tangle free forever!
Last night was a get together with people from work at a new resaurant in town. I always enjoy going to those dinners! It started around 1630 and we were all talking and then I had to leave at 1845 to make it to class on time. Got to class and our instructor didnt grade our test from last week! Someone in class asked if he would post them on blackboard and he said no, you can see them next week! Whatever! I would really like to know how I did! We talked more about z-scores and I believe I understand it. I will find out if I really did understand it when I start the homework!
I called the extended warranty regarding my laptop and the key on my keyboard that doesnt work anymore and of course it doesnt cover it. I have yet to figure out why I bought this warranty. So far nothing that has happened to my computer has been covered! Anyway, I spent about 30 minutes on the phone talking to various tech people, some that didnt speak english very well, and found out that it was going to be at least $700 to repair the keyboard! I am looking for a new laptop! I have one picked out that I like at Best Buy so I am going to do more research on finding me a new laptop. I cant type papers in correct format for school without my apostrophe/quotation mark key! I hope I never spill water on my keyboard ever again!
I had better get something done today. Toodles!

Nightmares of statistics!!!
Oh my! I feel asleep around 2300 last night and woke up this morning around 0430 because I was having nightmares about my Statistics class!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! I cant really remember what it was all about but I dont want anymore nightmares of my Statistics class! I am looking forward to being off this weekend from work. I shouldnt have that much homework to do so I should be able to feel caught up with everything and have a leisure weekend. I am going to a friends house Saturday night for a get together she is having. I am unsure what else I will do. I might have to scrapbook and put pictures with my scrapjammies kits that I have. I also have some other scrapbooking projects I would like to do. I have some clipboards to alter and I have some cool scrapbooking projects from another scrapbooking club I am in called sweetwater. I just hope that I dont accidently sleep the day away! I will have to make sure that I only sleep a few hours after work Friday so I can sleep that night and have a regular schedule this weekend. I think I might need to go back to bed as I do work tonight and need better sleep!

z scores?
I was somewhat lost today in Statistics. I dont understand the purpose of some of the stuff I have been learning. I am sure there is a reason this is done but I just dont know what that reason is! We had a test today and I wont know how I did till next week. The anticipation!! I am really tired tonight as I worked last night and stayed up till 1000 this morning finishing up my Microeconomics quiz and discussion board stuff. I was sitting in class tonight feeling tired and hungry and I am sure that didnt help me understand z scores any better! I think I might go to bed and read a scrapbooking memories magazine I got at B&N the other night that I havent had time to look at yet.
Wishing for a 12 hour mandatory
Well, I am actually at work and taking a break. I brought my laptop to work tonight to get some school work done on my break. I am learning that you cant get that much done in 30 minutes! I am not sure if I will do this again. I was called about 1800 as I was getting ready to leave my house for work and I was told we only had 14 patients and it was my turn for a mandatory. I was excited cause I had didnt feel like I was done studying. I went and changed clothes and gathered my studies and went to Barnes and Noble to study. I actually got back home about 2100 and was going to type up some notes for me to study from. The phone rang at 2215 and work is telling me that I have to come in and they were going to float me to another floor. I wasnt very happy about this because I was told that I was getting a 12 hour mandatory and I hadnt even started studying for my Microeconomics quiz. I ended up not floating because it wasnt my turn but I had to come to work. That is why I brought my laptop so I could get things done. Oh well! It hasnt been that bad tonight even though the others nurses might not say that. I have everything done and I should be able to leave at 0700! I hope I can sleep fast this morning and wake up earlier to study for my quiz in Microeconomics and my test in Statistics. Crazy life of a nurse trying to earn her BSN!

Still studying . . . .
Well, my HTML code is broken and I dont know how to fix it! So maybe I will post that later if I can get it to work! Just trying to have a little fun with things I have found on the internet.
I have been trying to study and I feel a little bit better about my test in Statistics tomorrow. Microeconomics I need to do a quiz and would like to get all the study questions anwered first but I kept falling asleep last night trying to do that. I have to work tonight which is making my study time to short! I need to hurry up and get the discussion board done and study for the quiz. It is open book but would like to have an idea of the chapter before taking it! Yesterday while I was studying at the Mudhouse I spilled water on the keyboard of my laptop!!! Today everything seems fine but there are random times that the quotation mark key just gets stuck and when you try to type with that key nothing happens! Great! How am I going to type papers up when keys dont work? I wouldnt mind having a new laptop . . . . . but it isnt cost effective when this one still works fairly well. I had better get back to whatever I was doing!!

Studying till my brains ooz out
Or at least trying! I am missing the summer where my days off from work were relaxing. Know I have too much studying to do! I was wondering how taking two classes and working full-time nights was going to be. I know now and I am not sure I like it! If I had only one class it would be better, I think. I figured up if I continue taking two classes a semester that it will take me about 3 1/2 to 4 years to finish my BSN. Isn't that crazy? I wish I had the ambition to finish it sooner. Maybe I will get it later on. It isn't going to happen this semester! I am at the Mudhouse currently trying to study but I just can't get really into it. I keep looking up things on the internet. :-) I am supposed to be at a family reunion at the moment so I need to pack up my belongings and get a moving! I will have to return to the Mudhouse later and hopefully feel like studying. My allergies aren't helping me with this either, I can't breathe today. All the ragweed is getting to me.

Busy girl . . .
I have been soo busy with work and school and trying to get enough sleep that I haven't made enough time to blog either! I need to be asleep at the moment as I have to get up early to finish my statistics homework and then go to class tonight. I finished my Microeconomics homework this morning and not very happy about the quiz I just took from Blackboard. It looks as if the class average was around the score I got but I studied! It is even open book! I did take a break from studying Sunday night and spent it scrapbooking for the circle journal I am in. I did a layout of my cats for a journal with the theme of "My Favorite Animal". Felix was trying to help me scrap it too! I am going to include the picture I took of the layout with this post. I really do think I need to get to bed so I can hopefully wake up in time to finish my homework! Later!
